The dinning room opens at 5:30 pm and winds down just before the show starts at 7:30 pm. We have recruited the best cooks in Magnolia to create the perfect meal, just for you! Texas cooking served up like Texans like it!Several old family recipes were dusted off in preparation of the Texas Opry's Cafe menu. And, just to tempt you, here's some of our exceptional menu items: For your main course, could we interest you in a heaping portion of fork-tender pot roast served with brown gravy, or slow cooked and falling apart smothered beef brisket? We rotate various chicken creations like lemon-peppered breast of chicken or how about King-Ranch Chicken, remember that? There is a basket of breads right out there on the table for the grabbing. Check out that old world cornbread, it's great! Can you recall what a garden is? Many of our vegetables are garden fresh! Ms. Mary stews up a variety of our fresh vegetable dishes and several "from scratch" cakes! Thanks Ms. Mary! You'll thank her too!
If you're not looking for the BIG dinner, we also offer home-made Texas Opry- style chili, chili pie, chunky potato soup, ole' fashioned Bar-B-Q sandwich and hot dogs with chips. These are all time favorites, especially with the kids and grandpas.During intermission, you can visit the concession area for can and bottled drinks, ice-cold tea and steaming hot coffee (and hot chocolate when it's really cold). Snacks like candy bars, chips and fresh popped popcorn are also waiting for you. We also offer a collection of ready-to-eat desserts, they are extra scrumptious special!
